DAY 1 Quick Notes

1:30pm PST : We raced our time trial this morning at 11:30am. The boat drew bow #1 for the TT which was cool as it gave us the most clear water but also represents a risk especially since we did not have someone to hunt and with Georgetown’s 4V guys starting behind us there wasn’t someone to push off of super hard. The boat performed excellently! We placed 2nd overall behind Cal and ahead of a bunch of other strong crews. The race seeded us into the A/B/C Semi #2 this afternoon at 4:08 PST. Marist will be in Lane #1 followed by Washington, Northeastern, St Joes, Jacksonville, and FIT. Top 2 Crews progress to the Grand Final, 3rd and 4th to the Petite Final and 5th and 6th to the 3rd Final. The athletes are feeling good and ready for a great fight this afternoon
