Sophomore Chris Carlson was invited to join the U23 USNT camp that summer where he competed in the men’s 8+ at U23 Worlds. In March Chris broke program record in the 2K with a time of … . Carlson would transfer to UW over the summer where he was a member of their Varsity 8 for two years placing 2nd at the IRA twice and landing two more U23 berths in the eight where he placed 1st and 2nd at Worlds. After graduation he joined the senior USNT and was in the men’s eight placing 4th at the word championships in 2022
