Marist vs Fairfield @ HOME!

Hello Race Fans: Our first home race for men’s rowing since 2019 is on tap for this Saturday! We’re excited to have some great racing on tap with MAAC Rival Fairfield and a celebration of our seniors! See Below Everything you need to know

TIMING OF EVENTS

10:15 am          Varsity Eights Race

10:30 am          Two Varsity Eights Races

10:45 am          Three Varsity Eights Races

11:15 am          2x500m Free-For-All with ALL crews first one off the start, last one off the paddle with a sprint

12:15pm           Senior Day Ceremonies at Cornell Boathouse

WATCHING IN PERSON:

1) Parking is Available in the Marist Boat House Lot and the adjacent gravel lot. Please Follow the direction of parking attendants as we are pressed for parking with a HS Regatta taking place at the same time on Sat Morning!

2) Parent’s Crew will be grilling for lunch and all food/festivities will be centered at the Cornell Boathouse: It looks like it will rain on us later in the morning and so we’ll use the upstairs part of Cornell Boathouse for refreshments and our senior day recognitions after racing

3) We ask that parents and spectators remain off the docks at all times and to also be mindful of the athletes at all times. if they’re moving boats around. Marist athletes will be moving some of our shells in and out of the Cornell BH during the morning as well as moving along the sidewalk between the two boathouses

4) We also ask that Parents and Spectators remain OUT of the Marist Martin Boathouse between the hours of 9:00am and 11:45am during race operations so the athletes of both teams can remained focused! afterwards you are welcome to stop by!

Coaches Woods and Stratton will film racing for the youtube channel like our last two weeks and we will post results on Row2k.com
