Feb 8th 2024 Update: Connor’s Erg Challenge and Biathlon This Weekend!
Dear Marist Rowing Alumni Family and Friends,
I have just two quick updates today to bring everyone up to date on the Connor’s Erg and planning for the annual Biathlon!
Biathlon Planning and Live Stream
As you know we have been working on upgrading our media this year and we proudly kicked off with our new website rowmarist.com! This month we launched the first Red Fox Navy Reflections podcast which aired on our new @REDFOXNAVYTV youtube channel and was posted on the team and alumni websites. One of our goals in this process is to start bringing live racing to our alumni outside of Facebook AND imbed those live feeds right on our team website where everyone who wants to can get a piece of the action. BUT In order to get this going I NEED YOUR HELP!!! Youtube will only let us livestream off our phones once our account reaches at least 50 subscribers. SO Your mission this evening is to sign onto our youtube channel at the link provided here and click to SUBSCRIBE to our channel. Connor’s Erg Challenge
This is our last reminder for the Connor’s Erg Challenge which the team will be competing in tomorrow morning alongside the Marist Women’s Crew. The Connor’s Erg is a virtual erg race and fundraising challenge where all of the proceeds go to support research on pediatric brain cancer, the largest disease related killer of young people. The team has achieved 100% participation from coaches and athletes and we hope you’ll join us by donating a few dollars for a great cause.
